Brad Prince is the Province’s Representative for the procurement, detailed design, and construction of this $686 Million project. The project includes reconstruction of a highway interchange, multiple bridge structures, 5.3 km of highway widening, and new facilities for busses, truck parking, electric vehicle charging, and active transportation. Brad provides leadership and direction to the Province’s management and technical team of 26 people; coordinates with Ministry Operations, Indigenous Relations, Properties, Legal, and Financial Services; and interfaces with adjacent highway improvement projects. Through the permitting and procurement phase, Brad led the property acquisition, reference concept design development, procurement of the Design-Builder, execution of the Design-Build Agreement, and all project controls functions. Through the implementation phase, Brad is leading the team administering the Design-Build Agreement, including oversight of detailed design, construction, and all commercial matters.
In parallel, Brad also provided advice to the Ministry regarding the development and delivery of other projects within the larger Fraser Valley Highway 1 Corridor Improvement Program, most notably constructability reviews in support of design development.
